I have been to the top of Pike's Peak.... in Colorado, 14,400 the treeline ceases above 10,000 to 11,000 feet .. so just brown rocks an dirt.... or snow..... no vegetation really...

Not enough oxygen up there for me -g-

Hemingway loved Switzerland.... he wrote several time how they would leave Paris and go to the Alps,

I believe especially in "a moveable feast" taking a look at Swizerland up close on Google earth or
any of these other apps that show the physical geography via satellite is really cool.

especially contrasting cities with the countryside and mountains.....
