I thought your point was that we should allow science to do what it is supposed to do. And not make it a religion.

That's a good point, but it was not mine.

Mine was an example of "words matter." I do not think that those who say they believe IN AGW are intending to convey a religious or supernatural belief even if they are claiming a scientific conclusion beyond what is scientifically supportable. The cause may produce religious zeal but the underlying matter is still science.
