Josh,

That it not too difficult to do. Click on the Recommendations (i.e, 2 Recommendations) and you see who recommended the post. Then click on the users name (alias) and it opens their profile. One of the options on their profile page is " Send Private Message '".

Am I missing something in what you are requesting?
