First of all, AE will not allow a number out of ZEN that includes the an 8 that is a given. He will not even allow another ~
So knowing that this is what is being done as Jordan makes their final ccts.
At this point he is sufficiently beaten up after trying to clean this crap, he and AE will sit down and ponder the hypothetical. Here is the simulated discussion.
Jordan: I just cannot get this shit any cleaner than 99.4%
AE: not acceptable, I told you that! How many ccts have you got?
Jordan: I am up to 12
AE: so what was the difference between 10 ccts and 12?
Jordan: I moved the purity from 99.3% to 99.4%
AE: there you go, you have evidence of a .05% per cct. So here is what I want you to do. Draft the report with 20 ccts and run the material through the system twice.
Jordan: So send the entire processed load, through a second time? That does not mean we will get to 99.9%+?
AE: I know that, what I want you to do is run the material through the same 12 ccts as many times as necessary to get 99.9X% and pretend it was a fully designed progressive circuitry, thats all we need to get too PFS.
Jordan: What if it requires me to run it through 3 or 4 times to get the purity you need?
AE: I don't care how many times you run it through, I sign off the report and I say there will NOT be a 99.8 Number in that report, do you understand?
Jordan: But there is no way we could ever reach the 30K tons a year running it through this system 3 or more times and the NAOH load would go ballistic!
AE: Look, that is not your job. I hired you for one purpose only and that was to sort out the Metallurgy! If its 5 loops through the system to get me my 99.9 number thats what it will be. NOW GO AND DO IT!
Jordan: you do realize that processing one ton, through the ccts 3 or more times takes X hours and therefore you will never meet the projected 30,000 tons a year and therefore the entire PEA is thrown out the window including the costing per ton?
AE: What did I just say, I said, you were hired to sort out the metallurgy not the math for the year. Once your report is filed then we analyze the implications, we do not put the cart before the horse. Do we understand each other?
