I can still remember as a child in the 1950's having our family doctor actually coming to our home when I was sick, kind of a Marcus Welby movement.

Now you have to wait for hours even with a scheduled appointment, just to see a doctor, who then spends most of their time with you looking at a computer screen. No doctor should see more than 20 patients a day. I asked one doctor about how many patients he had a day and he told my often more than 50.

I think medical malpractice lawsuits is one of the major reasons for the incredible increases in costs of American medicine.
