Change of Focus for this SI Board ...

This SI 'Windows 10' subject board was created almost 2 years ago a few months after the commercial release of Win 10 which is the OS I have been running on my primary desktop for some 18 months while running Win 7 and Win 8.1 on 2 older desktops. In the simple board header (which needs some updating) I note that "There is frequent discussion of Windows 10 by users on SI's 'Computer Learning' subject board. This board was created as a supplement to that popular SI board." I read all posts to that board every day and contribute to it on occasion, primarily but not exclusively with posts about Windows 10.

In this calendar year only 3 posts have been made to this board and its time to repurpose it, if only as a repository to post clips and text I've accumulated over the years and written to file on various Windows versions subjects. I intend to post on earlier Windows versions all the way back to Windows 1 which I never used and 2 which I only toyed with becauseI I used Microsoft DOS versions until Windows 3.x and beyond. Other individuals are welcome to do the same.

I'll also likely post about application software I have used and now use and how and why I use it as well as my own (absurdly boring to many) personal computing experiences. Other individuals are welcome to do the same.

I will continue to occasionally post tips and tricks on Windows 10 and frustrations and annoyances with various elements of it and workarounds for them in some cases I'll duplicate some of those to the 'Computer Learning' board ably and collegially hosted by 'goldworldnet' (Josh).

Best to all, - Eric L. -
