VCD 3.0 must have changed????????????? ijumpstart.com HARDWARE <Picture><Picture><Picture> China Readies for Super Video CD Launch An impromptu presentation by industry consultant Howard Woo indicates that the Chinese government is supporting development of a Super VCD (also know as Video CD 3.0) format. A standard length movie with DVD-comparable resolution could be fit on three Super VCD discs, according to Woo. An inexpensive 3-CD loader would provide seamless transition from CD to CD, Woo said. There's no word on when Super VCD might be available, however.
