Absolutely totally ridiculous story. The real problem is that ff power plants can't throttle their output rapidly! LOL! My electrical power system can throttle it's output from zero to full output in just a few milliseconds. Something that's totally impossible for ff or nuke based power generation. The real problem on the grid is thermal power systems not being able to respond quickly and efficiently to power demands.
