But in recent years the IPhone profits has taken the brightest Apple designers from computers to phones to the sad neglect of Apple computer users.
That is absolutely true. It has been discussed for several years now on the main Apple Inc. thread by a few of us unhappy with that fact. Apple has yet to come up with a product anywhere near as successful as the iPhone, but by focusing on it to the exclusion of the computer line, especially the desktop models, seems shortsighted at best and corporate mismanagement at worst.

They've also managed to screw up OS X/macOS tremendously as well for the same reasons, but that's an entire discussion in itself.
