Paul, your succint and right on description of how software - hardware interraction can be started, on as yet to be built CPU's by using simulation, was excellent. How did you ever get the time and energy to amass your in depth knowledge of everything from semiconductor physics and processing, through computer architecture and design, to software and simulation, and lots of other things in between? I guess this makes me one of your "henchmen", or whatever derogatory term was used by one of the naysayers in here. Fine, always have been. Thanks and please keep up the outstanding work. Tony
