Hi CatLady;

I'm not quite sure what they all mean exactly, but this is my take on the matter:

Short-Term - I figure this is inputs such as variance, deviation, momentum, acceleration, etc., for the previous few days. These are usually very predictive of short term moves. As to the *actual* formulas used I am unsure. I have used a range from 20-30 days, but I haven't really tested amongst them.

Long-Term - This is based on a 50 day moving average I believe. There is a mention of this in the help file. My guess is the percent change in moving average for the last X days. I usually set this to 2-3 days.

Price - Probably percent change in price for the last X days. I set this to 2-3 again.

Volume - I would think that this would be a comparison of recent volume to a moving average, or whether changes in volume are correlated to movements in price. I usually set it to 2-3 days.

Again, this is just my thoughts on the matter, so you may want to pose the questions to the author.

Hope that helps!
