He said the company expected fiscal 1999 earnings to rise a further 40 to 50 percent from the 1998 level. Rainforest Cafe shares were down 12-3/8 at 18-3/8 on Wednesday after the company said late Tuesday it expected fourth-quarter earnings in a range of $0.23 to $0.24 a share, versus the average analyst estimate in a First Call report of $0.25 a share.
