Not to quibble, Mr. Pink, but Plato's famous excerpt is not a metaphor but an allegory.

Bringing this back to the board, in Plato's 'Allegory of the Cave' the philosopher-king must be dragged back into the cave, having tasted pure enlightenment (i.e., staring into the sun). I don't remember dragging you back into the cave, and I somehow doubt your "back by popular demand" spiel. So perhaps you are one of the shadow makers (the deceivers of Plato's republic, the artists, poets, etc.), only increasing the shadows we already have to look at because of fonix's lack of detail in their press releases. I think we're still waiting for some credentials from you to give your "crooks" theory some credibility.

For the moment, I have to agree with John Lennon (Never been much of a fan, but this seems appropriate):

[People] [Mr. Pink] give me all sorts of advice,
Designed to enlighten me.
[But] I say that I'm OK
Watching shadows on the wall.
"Don't you miss the big time boy [NCR?!],
You're no longer on the ball."

Let it go, Mr. Pink. Or prove yourself the philosopher king.

Matt
