Some people just don't get it.

In an interview in 1972, Ben Graham said that while the 1961-1962 stock market decline washed out one generation of investors, the 1969-1970 decline took care of the next generation.

And of course, if some of them were still in the game, the 1973-74 bear took care of those guys! So unless something like that happens, the present generation of investors won't get it either.
