Leslie S. Feinberg: I agree that diamond prices will be falling but I'm not certain that the availability of SiC is causative or associative. DeBeers, which is the cartel which maintains the high price of diamonds is under pressure from both Austrailian producers and Russian producers. My understanding is the price drop is due to increasing quantities of non-DeBeers controlled diamonds hitting the market. Any thoughts? froland.
