RAVE lists the following as among its chief competition :

In the professional installer portion of the business : National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA), Carquest, and All Pro. In the DIY portion : AutoZone, Western Auto, and Pep Boys.

A quick look at the competition :
NAPA has 6200 auto parts stores; 128 of which are in Louisiana (LA).

AutoZone (AZO) has 1772 stores; about 40 are in LA. FY97 sales totaled $2.69B.

Western Auto has 1400 company-owned and associate stores. They have three Parts America stores and about 40 Western Auto Associate Stores in LA.

Pep Boys (PBY) has 692 stores; about 12 stores in LA.

Yes, that's some pretty heavy-duty competition.
