Hmmm, seems it's not only automation that's threatening jobs. Here's one for the score card: Goats 1, Union 0 ijr.com Union Workers Are Very Upset That Goats Took Their Jobs Across the country, union jobs are under threat. Immigration, automation, outsourcing, and minimum wage hikes have all imperiled vast sections of typically blue-collar union jobs. The trends have led to a collapse in union membership nationally. Now, in Michigan, an unforeseen enemy of union jobs has arisen: Goats. At Western Michigan University, goat crews are being used to clear harmful brush. Now, union members are pissed that other workers got their goat.
