Delbert, so easily insulted! According to one of the earlier participants in this forum, if we count back to Noah, from whom we are all descended, none of us are separated from each other as cousins by more than 16 times.

Now, you'd have to ask him where he got that data from.

Note carefully, I didn't specify what kind of a cousin. There are 1st, 2nd, 3rd.... etc cousins. We are all cousins., though it doesn't mean a lot beyond the early single digits.

Noah's Ark and the silt, you ask?

The book I read about it was written by archeologists. It was, oh, about 26 (twenty six) years ago when I discovered that book and read it. I'm sure there are plenty of books available on the subject.

If it is not important to you, it won't help you (and will be a waste of my time) to find any titles to recommend.

If you deem it worthy of inquiry, you can easily visit your local library or do a search on the internet about it (I haven't tried that yet, but... I'm aleady convinced beyond even so much as a wispy, fleeting SHADOW of a reasonable doubt.)

I'm sure there have been more books published on the subject since that time.

If you are sincere in seeking the truth, you will find it, Delbert.

The last time I supplied someone with a book, he said he would read it and have a refutation for everything in it. A few months later, I asked him to return the book (he had promised that, if I would loan it to him, he'd return it) and at first he denied I'd loaned him a book. But then I jogged his memory, by asking him in front of other people, reminding him of the title and asking him if he had refutations for it.

He said, "Oh, I never did read anything in it." Hmm. Well, at least he returned it. I decided, if someone is interested enough in a subject (when they are seeming so obstinately skeptical, as he and you both seem to be, they should do their own searching and prove to themselves and me that they really are sincere)
