Thumbing through yesterdays paper I saw an article entitled Tesla sales in Hong Kong screech to a halt as tax break is curtailed. IT was published in the Wa Post first, written by Alex Schiffer.

I recall the same thing happened in Denmark, I think.

A market strategy dependent on governments paying people to buy your product doesn't seem sustainable to me.
