For one thing, discovery. Boards without logos do not appear in the SI firehose. They also don't appear in the gallery.

It is identity.

All new boards require logos.

And the board logos are an integral part of our mobile experience, under development.

Please add one to your board, if active. If too much trouble, I'm certain I could help pick a good one for your subject, just let me know.
