Ed, Happy New Year and hope all is healthy and profitable in 1998. I agree that its real hard to presage a takeover prior to proving up(and I mean proving, not maybe having)reserves. However, this stock is going to present some really superb trading opportunities this year. I think you just have to buy it when it dips, and you will make money. The harder it dips the more you buy. And then sell it into the emotional buying panics(but not too early into them, as they tend to push it beyond where you think they will go). Also Ed, did you read the post on seven seas where this guy thinks that they have yet to prove up oil. Hey, buddy, get with it. Seven Seas has proved up a lot of oil, the only question is how much they got. What does he think all the excitement is all about with Harken's middle Magdalena acreage. The prices they are receiving for the small interests is remarkable and I think brilliant on the part of Faulkner. This is one horse you got to be riding.
