I've traded lumber myself, never shorted it. I took my coworker out to lunch on lumber profits, at Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Crystal City. The softs trend like forever and ever either up or down. I swear. The volumes are so light I just don't like it. Probably completely rigged. I don't trust that ICE exchange, at all. I'm paying $110 a month just to get their sleazy quotes.
