Hi Joe..About Novell response to Forrester Research report

I thought I (or somebody else) posted an article about what Novell said regarding this report. In any case, here is what they said. If you want the whole article, I will post it.

9/04/96 - Analyst Says Novell May Be Attractive Takeover Target
By Lisa Carricaburu
The Salt Lake Tribune Knight-Ridder/Tribune Business News

From the article:

"This, combined with increased competition, will compromise Novell"s
traditional high margins," Oltsik said, estimating revenue will decrease by 25 percent this fiscal year and continue to decline until 1998 when it settles around $1 billion. Novell had $2.1 billion in revenues in the past fiscal year.....

"It"s baloney," said William E. Donahoo, NetWare Products Division senior director of product marketing. "This is the same research firm that predicted NetWare"s demise in 1988. Obviously they were wrong."
