Integrated Carbonics is introducing processes to increase the purity of Liumao graphite to levels which are required by expanding market demand. Currently, the world markets are reported to be buying more than 50,000 tons a year of artificial graphite that is between 96 and 99 percent purity. These buyers would prefer to purchase natural graphite if it were available at a competitive price for its superior qualities and diversity of applications. Enhanced chemical refining Increasing market value up to US$3,000 a ton. Thermal refining Raising market value up to US$8,000 a ton. Graphite sheet manufacturing To specific market requirements, boosting market value up to US$15,000 a ton.
