Same thought. The whole thing was split-second adrenaline fueled action by both sides. He saw a barrel aimed at his head and didn't even think, except to guide the first few pulls over and away from his body. Then the later ones were pointing into him as the struggle became more chaotic. Guy was deadly calm for being a victim.
