My 1.6GB head info was from a PW report back in mar97. Also, I saw the 2.5 reference in the 10k. My guess is that it is a misprint. In the SepQ CC they mentioned SMI qualing the 2.8, I've talked to RDRT IR about the QNTM 2.8 qual... Besides, everyone else is making 2.8 DDs(WDC, Maxtor, Samsung, SEG), why make a 2.5. You know how it goes, we all are looking for a 3.2, or 4.3, or 6.4, or 8.4GB DD because we see them everywhere and can buy them anywhere. It'll be the same when we want the 11.2GB(4 platter 2.8) Who would order a 10GB??? Can anyone confirm that the QNTM will be a 2.8? I'm 90% sure it is.
