Did you ever see an Atheist going door to door trying to win converts? I've met plenty who would qualify as militant in their atheism, although I've yet to see one going door to door. I sometimes can't resist asking if they can prove the non-existence of God, just to see if they will work at trying to prove the negative. When are you going to accept the concept that being an Atheist simply means that you don't believe in a god or gods. I've never said it was anything else. And just as evil has been done in the name of religion, the USSR managed to do smear the, ahem, good name of atheism.
