Paul: The nice thing about the Asian flu is that the fever never lasts long and when it ends releases new energy and a sense of well being in the patient. Longer term debilitating effects may linger, but more like a faint weakness than a disease.

I think BAY will become the momentum stock de jour for a while and sometime later in 1998/1999 will begin to attract a better premium and greater proportion of longer term value investors.
