Vocal Fry 2.High rising terminal (HRT), or Uptalking These mainly apply to females who do not wish to sound like females. Instead, they prefer to sound like freakmales. The vocalizations were "created" and popularized about 10 years ago by (guess who?) the kardashians. Yep, I kid you not. I was hoping that this was a fad and would pass, but they now seems more popular than ever and deeply entrenched in our society...perhaps forever.
