7/14/2017 Contest update
Biotech bettors apparently could care less about Trumpcare’s fate as they anteed up more cash to the pot this week.
At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 28.83% YTD (vs. up 24.71% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 22.62% YTD (vs. up 19.46% YTD a week ago) and the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 36.64% YTD (vs. up 33.72% YTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) closed up 18.66% YTD (vs. up 17.26% YTD a week ago).
HRS’s portfolio, up 80.14% YTD, remained the Contest leader, while ROBO’s portfolio, up 75.04% YTD and BIOADD’s portfolio, up 66.62% YTD, held on to second and third place.
At Friday's close, 46 of the 48 Contest portfolios were now in the green, with 31 beating the NBI and 14 beating the hot SPSIBI.
The 195 Contest portfolio stock picks have an average YTD gain of 22.71% and a median YTD gain of 11.85%, with 119 of the 195 picks up for the year.

Portfolio adjustments:
1) CERU did 1-10 reverse split and symbol change to DARE after merger with Daré Bioscience.
2) NBRV exchanged ADS shares for new Ireland based shares on 1-1 basis but symbol did not change. (Press release was a bit confusing so if my reading was incorrect please let me know.)
