I finally found a picture of the back of that unit, and the RCA jacks look like the standard red (right channel audio), white (left channel audio), and yellow (video) ones, so it will work.

I take it the TiVo is so old it cannot use HDMI instead?

If so, if you want to connect both the TiVo and the LX-1000 to the TV, you can use a stereo receiver as the "middleman" to control the entire system. Older stereo receivers had several sets of RCA plugs, but finding one with at least two RCA sets and HDMI might be a challenge, but I'm not sure as I've never looked for such a beast.
