Well, a simple statement deserves a simple reply. I am a military veteran, Vietnam era, volunteered for military service, honorably discharged, awarded Army Commendation Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
I took an oath to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies, domestic and foreign. Since I have not been relieved from that oath, for me, it is still in effect, and I try to honor it each and every day.
I do not support President Trump. Period. I think he was a draft dodger who refused to answer his nation's call for military service. I also feel that he is not only an embarrassment to our nation but also is impulsive, not intellectually blessed and a danger to our safety and well being.
For me, and I think all patriotic Americans, it is an obligation to speak out against him whenever he deserves it. And, that is nearly every day. |
