HI Taxi; I don't belive anyone needs to apoligize to anyone, about
their forefathers. A parent may at times need to apoligine for their child, but I don't see it the other way around.
We have enogh to do if we can keep up with our own mistakes, let
alone thoes of our forefathers. What bad happend to the Indians was
mostly done by a minority, with the majority being misslead and
hood winked. That's all water over the dam , for a while
I did get caught up in some resentment, but after weighing
things out it seems that it was just bound to be, and it could
have been worse. Also there is a sort of justice that goes beyond
what civalization can create, so that what goes around comes
around. I gave up any ideas of ( getting even ) and started
focasing on just getting ahead. Not ahead of every one else,
just ahead from were I was; I got a late start but found many
people ready to help me along, as long as I didn't cop an attitude.
All in all I guess it was a learning experance, so what
if I was assimulated by the BORG...I now kind of enjoy
assimulating "them" in my own way...( grin ).
Heck if change didn't come slowly what yard sticks would we
have to know if something was really good. And if there was
never any pain how could we relate to joy.
Would winning a bet be near as sweet if we never lost any ?
Heck you need not feel sorry for what your forefathers
may or may not have done , any more than I need to resent it.
There was good and bad on both sides of the fence, and the
bad got more publicity, heck the news media still today
focases much more on the evil in the world, than the good
and if they can't find enough it seems they will invent some.
Look at what I found about the DOW INDEX, by reading my last
message..hope it makes sence.
