I had basic physics like you. But probably quite a bit more math. But what is particularly important is statistics, because that's where the flaws are. Unfortunately, physics explains only the theoretical underpinnings, but it is in its infancy in a climate that has outlived us all.

You guys don't understand how computer models work and how you judge them.

As to the physics, I'd recommend you point neo to Freeman Dyson's CV, which I posted to you a while back.
