Scott, after glancing over your excruciatingly lengthy post, you seem to be regurgitating a number of generally valid points. However, you have to look at individual stocks based on their own merit and this is a simple story: Borland is selling application development tools to complement the enterprise business systems being offered by IBM and Oracle. Moreover, Borland is providing the foundation for Oracle's next generation of application development tools. My guess is you will see the teens this year based on Oracle-derived revenue alone. Oracle is stepping up it's application effort and IBM AS/400 customers are nothing to sneeze at. As much as I love to hate Borland, they have taken precisely the right turns lately and I have every confidence they will be a big player in the enterprise tools market.
