I agree with Ramesh that Soros is a net plus to world. And I also admire his strong convictions and his charitable generosity. And I am not sure I see an inconsistency with all you said he said. Why wouldnt he say its worse then even he imagined. He was an early bear on Asia, obviously. Why wouldnt he follow up with a statement about taking advantage of buying opportunitys later? Makes sense to me.

Your "nipple in the sky" is an inflammatory and colorful rhetorical question. Maybe you could share what you think a government's role is?
And finally, just out of curiosity, do you know what a shift key is?
