10 year cycle... equityclock has a nice page on that:

Years ending in 7 have a tendency to top just around this time of the year - to be followed by a relatively hard decline. But, please note that the Q4 of years ending in 7 - and the early parts of years 8 - tend to be pretty flat. THAT may actually be a good period to sell options.
