My partner dumped all his holdings two days before the
big market correction... saved himself a bundle.

I held through it, got whapped for 10-15%, and recovered
most of it the next day.

Unloaded my Legato, bought Informix at 6 +, watched it
nosedive, kicked myself, sighed...

Dammit, how in the hell did I manage to pick 2 significant
companies (out of five picks) that had to make major restatements
of earnings (I bought into informix two or three days before
they announced everything, and my stock value halved itself
overnight! Argh. And I bought in twice more, on the way down,
before it bottomed...)

Now, my policy is to wait until a stable price has been reached,
when I think a stock has been unfairly whapped. Learning...
that didn't help me with the IFMX thing either. Oh well.
