Well, some would say you could read a younger Richler
amazon.com
.....like maybe "Duddy Kravitz" - search Amazon using "kravitz" - it's out of print, but you can find it in most used bookstores. It's the only Richler I've read, but one time I was seeing a young lady in Montreal who knew him, that's my literary claim to fame. Yes, I used to read books, before getting this computer, but that seems so long ago and far away now. Do you know Project Gutenberg;

sailor.gutenberg.org "The Crowd, Study of Popular Mind" is a good one (bearshark's suggestion) and "Memoirs of Popular Delusions" (3 vols) another. Watch out downloading them, some of them have a lot of bytes. Here's one for the New Paradigmers

Dec. 20, a fellow Sagittarius... I'm the 18th ... guess you never had much of a birthday either, eh, too close to Christmas. They say we make good traders, not afraid to screw up a little in order to learn, and quite intuitive (read lucky). But me, I still shake like one of Zeev's autumn leaves, and stay pretty conservative. Problem is, I'm using my own money.... must do something about that soon.

....brings up a good point, that uranium is not traded like other commodities, there's only a few producers and a few consumers. Most uranium is sold through long-term contracts, only partly affected by the spot market. Cameco says it never sells on the spot market, but buys considerable there. Of course, it is a major U processor, and makes a buck out of that no matter what the price is. For a core holding, I like it. You must have covered today, eh, we were up six bits -g-

Interesting that Sudhir likes IUC, I wonder what he has to say about the Lundins?

Lalit Jain should come over here and do a write-up for us on Denison (DEN);

... I like it and have been trading it for a year, but am afraid that today's action means they might be stupid enough to roll the shares back, something an IR guy told me they were considering last fall. They have a mine coming onstream, though, and have been doing well with Greek oil in the interim. It's got a ways to go to get back to ten bucks, where it was in the Eighties, but even one buck is a three-bagger from here.

Bearcatbob started a thread on IUC, seems like it could attract a little more interest
