I asked my younger daughter a while back if I was a good dad. She of course said I was. She said the best thing I did was I didn't punish them. Never did and never had any problems with either girl. We all just sort of played. Lots of zoo time-lol.

My younger is a scientist runs a large organic fertilizer corporation. My younger is a lawyer and went to Berkeley.

Both sweet as apple pie-lol They phone me once a week and worry about me. My younger has been compared to Eleanor Roosevelt by her hippie bosses. What a compliment and the love her. My older is a stay at home mom doing law part time from home and tending to the family which is what she likes most.

Both live storybook lives. I raised them very gently and made sure never to break them!!!!! the idea of hitting them was not even in my vision-lol, I would never do that. I slept with both until they were seven, their choice. I let them tell me what they needed. They liked the feeling of security I think when they were snuggled next to me at night,. I felt. At seven they were both done. Must be genetic. I figured as we evolved the children knew staying close to adults provided the best safety agaisnt wild animals as we slept around the fire wild animals roaming the perimeter looking for an easy kill! Programmed into us I felt!

I am selling my house and taking the money to Las Vegas to play high stakes poker. They said if I lost all my money they will take care of me.

Now did I raise good kids or what?-lol
