The casino was built by William Wrigley, of the gum fame, who owned the island. He also held spring practice for the Cubs there. Lived there on my boat during the summer for 7 years. My favorite place in the world. It also has a herd of bison that were left there after a Zane Grey movie was filmed there. Grey also lived there. His house is now a hotel.
