I agree with your assessment, however I mentioned triple tops
in regard to a futures contract, while this is a stock but even still
a stock with a triple bottom at $2.5 really doesn't have much downside
to effect.

Futures contracts represent a commodity which has both natural demand
a physical need, whereas a stock has no such natural demand so while
futures are mostly based on supply/demand stocks aren't.

So I consider stock and future charts as apple and oranges and therefore
not all rules apply equally.
