Many many years ago I went to a talk by a very famous person he espoused globalism - first time I heard about it - (you probably know his name, initials are "I A") Besides globalism, he claimed that excess levels of CO2 would eventually cause global cooling. The idea was that there would be warming that would cause more water vapor which would eventually freeze over the poles eventually increasing the size of the ice sheet until a positive feedback (uncontrolled) situation would occur. See? They've got all bases covered.
