1. January effect. 2. Contrarian buying (all the bad news out, blood in the streets, etc, etc). 3. Dead cat bounce. 4. Shorts closing out (risk/reward at $5 just wasn't worth it). 5. Mindless bottom fishing (expecting that even a dead cat ...). 6. Mindless TA trading ("The charts are telling me this is extremely oversold. Hey, does anybody know what business they are in?"). OK, nothing scientific here. If you believe in management and the business strategy, be a #2, but expect a long wait. It'll be hard for most to overlook past disappointments while suffering a bear market and other companies who haven't stumbled look so cheap (in a few months that is). Guten Glck. Bob
