Considering the Earth is 75% ocean with known 30 and 60-year cycles, I'm not surprised at all that warm years cluster together, especially influenced by an El Nino. It's similar to having the warmest days of a year cluster together during a heat wave on top of a seasonal cycle. It all matters where one is in the cycle.

Michael Mann can't even use a Parzen smoother properly. He also tried to concatenate tree-ring data with observed data. What a dumb shit.

You got anything about the upper-tropospheric hot spot? Otherwise, all the observed warming reported by NASA and NOAA only is with regard to the surface, which shows that the warming the past 30-years is just surface warming enhanced by the oceans and urban heat island. Satellite data shows a different story.
