Trumpov remains obsessed with the issue of Russian collusion with his campaign.

He continues to lie shamelessly about this, bringing it up even in the absence of questioning, now claiming Russia opposed his election, paid for the Steele dossier, and was working in collusion with Hillary.

But during the campaign, he boasted of his good relationship with Putin ...."He's said very good things about me ... I would get along very very well with Putin." He couldn't stop talking about Putin then, boasting of how well he'd get along with Putin dozens of times during the campaign. Now he can't stop talking about "no collusion." When Putin's human rights violations (ie killings) would be brought up, he always defended Putin even to the point of bashing the US.
