I do business with Merril Lynch, have been with them for over 12 years. My broker is not going to give me a BS line. I know them pretty well. If they say it to me its as good as money in the bank in my book. Now, if they were to go on record in deception, they would not last very long in this business. In fact SEC will have their hide for breakfast if they did. Buy the way the recommendation was for a long position not a daytrade or short position. Looking at some other stock quote sites, they recommand that people cover their short position in CISCO now, the technicals are not pointing to a down trend but more up trend. So any of you shorters out there, watch your butt it will get fried.
