<Elmer, Does getting 3d for free mean anything to you???>

Not really, when you consider I need a good graphics card anyway. The cost of high quality 3D cards has come way down lately and I still can't understand why anyone would want to use up so much CPU bandwidth when a good card (which you need anyway) will do a better job. I am not an expert in this area, perhaps I am missing something. It seems to me that because so many here think this is such a big deal, that someone could explain it. I keep seeing claims of the K6-3D being so much faster than a Intel system no one will describe. If you or someone else is so excited, surely you can explain why. Buying any good graphics card now gives me more or less free 3D right now. Cards are only going to get faster for a better price.
