CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY BANS KEKISTAN FLAGS
AUGUST 22, 2017

California’s state universities were one of the most hostile environments for young conservatives throughout the entire election cycle and tension hasn’t eased since Trump became President. A Trump supporting student received a warning on Sunday to take down the Kekistan flag he was hanging in the window of his campus apartment.

The third year college student, who wishes to remain unnamed in order to prevent further retaliation from the university, said he decorated his apartment with sports paraphernalia, school colors, and a flag in the window of Kekistan, a character usually used by internet trolls, alt-right activists, and millennial Trump supporters.

During his first weekend home, the student received a text message from friends who said the resident advisors were looking for him and demanding he take down his Kekistan flag because they found it offensive and claimed it was a fire hazard.

In text messages obtained by Milo Inc., the student said that the flag is no more offensive than signs reading “f**k Donald Trump” posted all over students’ dorm doors after the election.

Furthermore the student insisted many other students on campus fly flags from either other countries or other states and are not scrutinized by administrators.

“One of the RA’s thinks they know what the flag means and are not happy about it,” he insisted to Milo Inc. “This is all about them trying to suppress my freedom of speech.”
