Lead aka guns and ammo and Whiskey give one leverage and bargaining potential.Still my 1st choice.
Totally agree about ammo. .22 LR, 9 mm and .223/5.56 being the most common. Arable land (i.e. rural) and seeds for food are also high on my list, but ammo would be very useful (in many ways).
